Frequently asked questions

Do I need both components?

No. DGTLMS works on its own, and that is the most common setup. DGT Dispatcher is added when you need to distribute your content into platforms that are not your own.

Do my clients have to install anything?

No. They receive a standard SCORM package that they import into their LMS like any other content. A personal download link even lets them retrieve their packages themselves, course by course or an entire category in one archive, with no account or password.

What happens if a client redistributes my content?

The package only works when called from a domain you have authorised, with a token you can revoke. Content copied elsewhere will not launch.

What data do you collect about my clients' learners?

No personal data. The Dispatcher only keeps a hashed identifier — enough to count seats and attach a progress record, never to identify a person.
